It occurred to me after my earlier post that there are some message-specific features iHub lacks that SI has. Tried to edit my message but the wife's laptop clobbered the network again, so it was reboots all around. Anyway, we don't have Ignore. Some other recent additions are spell-checking, and one of my favorites: user-configurability. If I remember correctly, SI does let you choose what options will appear in your toolbar (we call it the top menu), and a few display items, but I've gone almost overboard in that area. Don't like blue message boxes on a white background and want your menu to look like 3D buttons, say silver buttons with yellow lettering in script? Cool. Everyone can roll their own interface. Personally, I took advantage of that one to set myself up with a light-gray page color that seems to be a lot easier on these old eyes. Actually, if anyone's curious what kind of stuff I've been adding, investorshub.com lists most changes I've made. Another cool one (I'm starting to sound like my own biggest fan, but really I'm just writing the interface I always wanted) is that you can embed graphics and sound files in your profile, board headers, or even in messages, but each user can elect to turn off sound, graphics, or both. And in their place is a link to the sound or graphic that says "[Suppressed Sound Link]" or something like that. I love geeking. It's a lot more fun than being an Admin. :)
