stubba: Calculations are very simple, if you separate the trading and option activity from SE.
The simple truth is in fiscal 2002(ending Jan. 2001), SE went down. The treasury stock will only be used to satisfy option exercises. This stock cost Dell 44-45/shr. They will be selling that to management for $1-$14.
What dell did is gamble with SE and paid management.
