Tremendous blow to the shorts. the buying is relentless... probably a very good bet that this continues to 1697 within a day. At that point we will see if we can get more than an big oversold bounce from ridiculous levels. I hope anyone who made money in expe is out. It had an amazing run, but there simply is no significant barrier to entry. If the airlines and hotels draw everyone to their websites based on price, expe has to hope that they can do very well as a one stop shop/clearinghouse. But should it have a very high pe? I am NOT short expe, I just think anyone who has run it up should bail today and walk away, just as some of us should have done even in Oct of 2000 on various stocks.
