The 13 didn't really impress me very much in the Derby. I can envision Mike Smith AND D Wayne both chuckling to themselves and envisioning having the picture made in the winner circle AT the top of the turn ....... Mike had PC sitting in the cat bird seat, and I feel, thinking HEY-- I gots this guy in my sights .... gonna call on my horsie when we get straightened out and MAN --- I'm a winner ..... but when he calls on his , Victor calls on WE and whooops as the track announcer said .... WE finds fifth gear .. he has another gear ... I just think there was a group of not so stellar horses lined up in this Derby. Now, WE, MdO, PC and EoD are the only ones I see as "potential gooderns" at this point in time ... but things can/will change ... most likely, as well as my opinion ......ggggggg
