That being said, it does not make me bullish. I think it just makes it easier for the index to hover around max pain. You have to take the catalysts as they come. Cisco was the right catalyst.

Justa, the Fed meeting had a little to do with this as well as the market getting too far away from Max Pain. This reminds me a bit of the blip in Feb. 2001. Here's the chart on that one:
