this isn't a market of fundamentals

It (almost) never is.

Great response. The point I made to Justa, this just happened a month ago. Pull up a chart, the exact same thing happened. Now the question is, will people learn from it or buy like crazy only to see the bottom fall out again.

>>>Today I finally gathered enough data to work out the PE and PS values for the top 60 NDX stocks and the weighted average PS is only 3.89

I had expected it to be higher
and am thus tempering my valuation-based bearish stance on the NDX 100 (although I am still moderately bearish for other reasons).

Thanks to Steve for that analysis. If that doesn't scare the bears, not sure what will.

Revenues are only going to increase from these levels(hence QLGC), and earnings will improve as cost cutting measures begin to take place, therefore lowering PE's.

The glass is either half full or half empty. It's half full for me.

excellent post jeff.
Actually if someone had the LUXURY i having 100k he could AFFORD to lose and bought 100kdollars worth of CSCOmay15calls, having tuned into the MM set up on tueday, would be rolling in oceans of green today.
I tried a play like that once, but unfortunely said bye,bye to 100k.
Haven't had a 100k bag of throwaway money since.
