For the record, since we discussed ORCL quite a bit over the last few days I feel obligated to say that I sold a little of my personal holdings at 9.04. I am not calling this a Z trade because I am still holding a lot more than I sold and I think that the stock will trade higher. My target for the 2000 shares bought in the Z port at 8.28 is 9.75 to 10.10, and my target for the remaining 2000 shares is about 11. Both Cisco and Oracle are showing signs of a bottom in their revenue changes. ORCL has gotten a bad rap the last few weeks, partly over a campaign contribution that the company made before they were awarded a $90 million CA state contract. If you read the details of the case, you would probably conclude that there's no foul play, but of course the media blows it out of proportion. That combined with the lousy market before today undoubtedly contributed to a severely oversold stock. I think this will all blow over and the stock will trade higher, but it won't recover all in one day...or with this crazy market, it might. <g>
