I was referring to the market, not the stock.
The fact that each of your posts are littered with the detritus of comments you've made ad infinitum, without backing, and without any clarity of purpose earns you.....
the ignore button.
Shame, too, because it's only the 3rd time I've used it.
I'm open to opposing thoughts and ideas. But there is a point where you're beating a dead horse. You bang one drum over and over again.

As I pointed out in a previous post, you have a very static viewpoint. What is today is rarely what is tomorrow. Tell me....how many members of the Dow in 1930 are still part of it today? 1940, 1950, or 1960?
How many that are on it today got there through merger or acquisition?

Answer these questions, then come back and make a logical statement that has bearing on the current case.
Statistics are only good if you know what they mean. Just because HPQ is second or third in a market doesn't tell you what is happening in that market, nor does it tell you how a company's assets can be leveraged to offer greater entry into a market.

One last thing...if the internet bubble didn't teach you anything, learn this - there are no pure plays that last.
