I am having a hard time finding hard data on the web, but I was careful to say "regular users", and I do not think that short term use qualifies. There are certain drugs that cause addiction in most people who use regularly, among them barbiturates and amphetamines. In fact, abuse of prescription drugs is one of the most common forms of abuse.
