I agree but maybe Matrox will learn from Nvidia and create a product that has headroom. Then they can copy what Nvidia has been doing, mainly bumping up the MHz and tweaking the core slightly.

I think it would be great to have another player in the 3-D arena so we may see some serious innovations.

And yes, Nvidia works closely with AMD so a GeForce 5 integrated chipset or stand-alone on the new platform will be sweet.
