Are you kidding? California has seen Massive migration from the rest of the nation in the last few years. These population will leave when the jobs disappear. Jobs are in California? -- California unemployment rate is higher than the nation, and California manufacturing base has dwindle so drastically that the weak dollar that benefit manufactuiring sector in other states give no benefits to a service oriented state economy. Califronia will handle a deep recession much worse than the rest of the nation,.
