Tim,

Like you I don't believe this rally. The CSCO numbers were not all that great. I think it is more of a short covering rally. They should re-load around 1700 or 1743. We did fill one of the the gaps in the COMPX from Oct, but this is still far from the low of September. The only thing on the positive side is that the economic situation is not as dire as in September.

11:36 ET SAN stocks shrugging off lowered IDC forecast
Storage Area Network stocks are ramping this morning, despite a pre-open Bear Stearns Ripple Effect note that says IDC's preliminary growth forecast for the SAN infrastructure mkt is well below previous ests; firm noted that this could be perceived as negative for BRCD, INRG, MCDT, QLGC, EMLX, and QLGC, but will likely have little impact on JNIC and ADPT.
