I feel AMAT's earnings announcement next Tuesday will be very important. By that time some, if not all, of the euphoria will be worn off from the CSCO announcement and the market will at least be ready for a rest, if not downright retrenchment.

I don't know what it would take from AMAT to keep the market on an upward course next Tuesday, but it probably will take a "lot". I certainly expect a "good" report, but will it be "good enough"?
