I hate to say it, but I agree with you. The fundamentals are very strong at Cisco, but those same fundamentals argue for a pullback in the stock to more reasonable levels. My number one gripe is still too many outstanding shares.

Jerome, it wasn't just a CSCO rally. CSCO's results reminded investors of other good news they had ignored last week.

Todays rally was more of a celebration that CSCO did not fail. But is the outlook any better for the other techs today than it was on Monday????

I was talking to someone last night about the local (SV) capex situation. He and I agreed that a positive stock market actually fuels capex spending, and has since the business media became so prevalent (cnbc). If this stock market holds some gains I'll bet some software company gets a deal that was shelved recently. Executives are taking clues from the mkt as to where business is going- scary as that seems.
