No, Len's post was a testamony on the brutality of Israel's military occupation of Palestine. It is so heinous that even the heavily indoctrinated population can sense the unfairness of it all. Here are some other powerful testimonies on Israel's commitment against freedom and democracy:

--- In 1983, the Israeli government ordered Israeli TV and radio to stop using the Hebrew word "ishim" ("personalities") in reference to leading personalities of the PLO. "A careful investigation" revealed that there is "a positive weight of respect" with the use of that word.

--- When a Jewish Israeli political party sought to broadcast a campaign advertisement showing an interview with Arafat announcing that he accepts U.N. resolutions 242 and 338, High Court Justice Goldberg ruled it illegal

--- Palestinian artist Fathi Gaban received a 6 month prison sentence for using the colors of the Palestinian flag in a painting.

--- 4 Young Arabs were sentenced to fins and 3 months hard labor for having waved a Palestinian flag in a protest demonstration after the Sabra-Shatila massacres.
