J.T., the up/down volume ratio was under 6 to 1 on the Nasdaq. Compared that to other breakaway days on the Nasdaq and I would have hoped for more. Still, you are right, lots of skepticism. Today could have been a sea change between tech and the rest of the market just like March 15, 2000 was a sea change between growth and value.
I find it interesting, though a bit disconcerting for dateliners like myself that Asia did nothing tonight. Again, that may be a redeployment out of what has worked this year (Asian emerging markets) into what hasn't worked (domestic tech)
