Nice if you knew to take your profits and run just before/just after the downturn that followed. Nice only if you entered it just before/just after that upturn.

Nice if you did not believe it. Like the rest.

A nice short-lived temporary rally is not the same as saying we have now put in a bottom which is what this message thread from you and I started off discussing.

As I mentioned elsewhere, making profits/being successful on sharp price swings off intermediate tops and bottoms is not tantamount to calling the market direction longer term.

Or doing 'bottom-calling'.
