Study finds city women more impressed by men with huge

Study finds city girls seek money men

Women in big cities prefer rich men while women who live in small towns aren't bothered by wealth.

A study of lonely hearts adverts in newspapers across the US matched personality types with the size of their home towns.

It found those who made emotional demands were more likely to live in smaller populations, while those who made financial demands lived in cities.

New Scientist reports that experts aren't sure why.

They say women may raise their demands when there is more choice or gold-diggers may be more likely to move to cities.

Kevin McGraw, of Cornell University, studied adverts from newspapers in cities ranging in size from Los Angeles to Montgomery in Alabama.
