I have been wondering the same thing myself. It is amazing how much leeway these company managements have taken on in the last twenty years. Hire their own accountants, get a rubber stamp board of big picture types, pay themselves a fortune and nobody calls them to task until it all blows up and the shareholders take it in the neck. And when the Cheif Financial Officer and Board of Directors all sell their stock no one thinks that is strange? Of course they are selling their stock because they are not as stupid as the shareholders who let their actions go unsupervised and un-challenged.
