Again you confuse things. The murder rate is the number of murders per population which is probably owned by DC. The number of murders would naturally occur at the highest levels in the largest populations of which NY and Chicago are two of the largest. Thus you are likely all wrong as usual, you cannot even distinguish between the terms murder rate and number of murders.

Handgun Control Inc. doesn't want anyone to know that the cities with the toughest gun laws have the highest murder rate. So DC was the only city that had data in their database.

You are comparing Illinois with DC.
