Sounds like other strange phenomena that seem to occur whereever severe violence happens. I remember a picture I once saw in the old Saturday Times. It was hurricane aftermath. A beach club had been pulverized--the roof was gone and the barstools floated away. But up on the bar were a pyramid of barglasses untouched...still waiting for someone to grab the top one and pour himself a drink.
