John--- I had no problem buying a little high or adding yesterday. It is hard to tell how low it will go but the only stuff I hold is BRK, IBM, and soon GE <gg>. Layoffs are a required evil in these times and we all hope they are of short duration...

John:

TA wise it has broken the 81 area which was solid support from 98 so now it should test support @ 70.

Depending on how it spins a revised forecast next week for this year (layoffs, its pension accounting, debt service, servicing margins / competition), in this market, it can go to the 50 area, support from 97, maybe even the 40's if the news is bad enough.

I expect IBM to lead the markets down towards its final flush on this bear market.
