OT: I thought it was a good read... I especially enjoyed the section on Point & Figure charting...

I also learned a lot of "other stuff", such as patterns etc, & has some beginners stuff on ewave & cycles FWIW only.

I don't think Murphy's books are very good myself. If you are looking for a basic TA reference, you'd be much better off imo with Schwager's big introductory text. Better than Murphy or E&M.
