Rolling Stones to Rock FedEx Field (throw Viagra !)

LANDOVER, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 9, 2002--The Rolling Stones
will light up FedEx Field once again on the night of Friday, Oct. 4.
The tour kicks off Sept. 5 in Boston and will play 32 dates in
North America. FedEx Field seats more than 86,400 for a Washington
Redskins game, the largest capacity of any NFL stadium.
"We're thrilled to have the Stones back," said David Pauken, Chief
Operating Officer of the Washington Redskins. "Their last show in our
stadium was one of the highlights of that year's tour. We expect no
less this time around."
The Stones' 1997 tour played the brand-new stadium in its debut as
a concert venue.
Announced opening acts for the tour include No Doubt, Sheryl Crow,
Buddy Guy, and Jonny Lang, with more to be announced in coming weeks.
Tickets for the Oct. 4 show are scheduled to go on sale May 18
through TicketMaster and the Redskins Ticket Office.
