poor jerry, don't understand the terminology. My statement on hundreds of reactor years is the sum of reactors and the years each has operated with ZERO accidents the lead to releases of any deadly radiation.
It's safe reactor operation years. It's 2+2=4. It's kinda basic.

The Soviet Union did not and I don't think has Commercial Nuclear Power Plants and CHERNY was a by design really a bomb and not a reactor. It was such a stupid design and had no containment building. You using it in the example shows again your total technology ignorance.

What is a real risk. There is a real risk that an asteroid will obliterate the earth. There is a real risk that the sun will explode. There is thousands times more real risk that a genetically created bio-hazzard will kill thousands than a nuclear power plant will have an accident that leads to the release of deadly radiation. But one has pictures of what a nuclear bomb can and has done. The images are real and the general total ignorance of systems safety analysis lead the technically ignorant and vacant liberal minded lefty loons to fear the one in a bazillion and in a happy go lucky, fat, dumb, and ignorant embrace the 1 in a million deadly real risks.

Telling you the truth as an informed technologist who sees your ramblings of a technology ninnyhammer is not snotty. It's just the plain simple truth.
