I find it interesting that an overwhelming majority, yourself included, feel that any rallies in the short term will be short lived and that the slide will resume. I think that many shorts are thinking the same way and are looking to keep shorting.

I remember your response when I indicated that I was short a few months ago. You said that I might be "sweating stones" during the spring rally. Of course, the spring rally turned out to be a spring massacre. I covered my short at 1650 and started going long. First entry was a bit pre-mature at 1620 but I nailed the second one buying at the close on Tuesday.

I wonder if all of the bearish sentiment might point to a summer rally of considerable duration. The COT report should be quite revealing.
