Deloitte & Touche Resigns As Sports Resorts International Auditor

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Sports Resorts International Inc. (SPRI), which operates a car racetrack in Brainerd, Minn. , was recently notified by Deloitte & Touche LLP of its decision to resign as the company's independent public accountant, according to a Form 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing didn't disclose why Deloitte & Touche resigned or who the company would retain as its auditor.

Deloitte & Touche hasn't included in either of the past two years an adverse opinion with respect to Sports Resorts' financial statements, the filing said.

During the two years ended Dec. 31 , and the subsequent interim period through April 17 , the company had no disagreements with Deloitte & Touche on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial disclosure or auditing scope or procedure.
