Markus, lets play Amzn out for a minute. At last count Amzn shows, 181 million shares held by the elephants, 95 mil held by the funds, insiders held 123 mil...add it up...that's 399 mil shares.
That doesn't include the short shares which at last count was 16% of the float. Yet, Amzn shows only 375 mil shares outstanding.
375 - 399 = (24). Either my #'s are dead wrong or there's 24 mil counterfeit shares out there.
You'd better check yours, if they're not in a margin account.

Looks like the low 20's is definitely a possibility. Its displaying all the characteristics it had in 1998 when it kept moving higher as the shorts kept shorting. Of course the fundamentals for AMZN are a lot better now. Anyone
know what the short interest on AMZN is ?
