I have no arguement with any of the 4 but I'd say 1 & 2 express asperations of a higher state while 3 deals with a baser, yet equally important aspect. Re:DMA, I'm every bit as hardassed as you about corporate crooks. We are WAY too soft on white collar crime. However, as a businessman myself I know firsthand the negative implications of the law of "unintended consequences" and kneejerk, politically driven legislation. It is the Ken Lays of the world that give rise to the above.
