OT For some odd reason, I was watching ESPN classic for a few minutes the other day, and they had the "Superstars- Teams" (remember that show?) w/the Royals vs. LA Dodgers....in Hawaii A couple things stood out: One, George Brett has a gap between his front teeth only matched by my one-year old daughter. You can drive a truck thru it. Two, baseball players are a helluva lot more athletic looking now (than then). Finally, a very strange spooky scene: The announcer for the show was O.J. Simpson, just finishing up his football career (literally, on his last legs). At the end of the introduction piece, the camera zoomed to a beautiful blonde sitting on the grass while leading to commercial I was starting to zone out at that point, until I realized the blonde was Nicole Brown (later Simpson). She must have been about 18 at the time. O.J. was still very married then. Guess the wife stayed at home on that one.
