76 election--Carter and Ford.

Can't think of a clearer example of the "evil of two lessers" argument.

Over time I have come to like Carter much better than Ford. But I think the great lesson of the 20th century is that government intrusion into the free market simply does not work.

People who think they can have their cake and eat it, too, ultimately don't do anyone any favors.

Hi JohnM; As long as we're "opening the kimono" regarding our voting records, I've always been a partisan Republican, and while I've voted for the occasional independent, I've never voted Democrat.
