Given current sentiment....I'm thinking maybe we need to test 1750 (downtrend line off highs) by mid-next week (in other words, a break of 1696 to get bulls lathered, bears scared) before more down...

Given the sentiment readings from yesterday (divergences), if we fail at 1696 again, I think sentiment will turn to quickly bearish. Although I suppose one could argue that VIX is nowhere near capitulation type levels
