When the Sable production was bought they issued a lot of units, this is a long life asset so in the long run it could be good but in my opinion it has hurt the short run distributions down from a high of 40 cents to 15 cents this month

Why has Pengrowth's stock performed so badly over the last couple of years.

-------- Performance is a relative measure. Depends on when you got in. Also depends on when you accumulated if you did at all on the lows when they presented themselves. --------

Other trusts have faced the same market conditions but their prices have held up much better. Pengrowth is one of the dogs in my kennel.

-------- Its been good to me. My documented posts show I started to re-accumulate PGF at $17 many months ago (10) . And accumulated on the way down. Now you are correct that if you bought at the previous cycle highs of over $21 and never accumulated any during its fall and or at or near its lows of $12+. It would most certainly SUCK. But is that the fault of the stock or the fault of the person buying it.???????? As I say performance is all relative. ---------------
