Louis, I remember reading about talks of a pipeline deal in Afghanistan that broke down around the same time (I'm not sure if Enron was part of that), and then there was that fella who was assassinated right before 09/11... Now connect these dates with the early August market movement... Sorry I don't have the dates or the exact details of the above but they sure didn't give any "news" coverage to any of it...
