Brooke and Paul, the naz and q's etc is holding at the top of that rising window (gap). That is always pretty strong support and I almost went long the q's there but I am not sure I would be around to sell the move (if it happens) and I don't want to be in the dead group.

As the the multiple day candle pattern it is (so far) forming a 3 methods (3 down days contained within the up day) if it stays at or above the gap 2 days of the formation have been confirmed. The thing I don't know and have not looked at is if one could consider bottom of the rising window as a continuation of the up day. What I mean by all that is this...if it could, a down day to fill the gap would still be in the definition of a bullish 3 method.

As a philosophical point, when the CIs get so low that it's obvious that the next big move is up, why wouldn't you begin to leg into partial longs and await the turn? It's easier to be early than to be late, as Bill Meehan used to say. The same could probably be said for legging into short positions when all CIs approach 100.
