You said that perhaps I had ben unlucky. This bore no relationship to what I had said, and to which you have re-quoted. I did not tell you that I had personally managed the entire private sector and that all my assertions were based experientially. Indeed, that you could have thought that for a minute is absolutely ludicrous, and made me suspicious of a dissembling response.

If your knowledge of waste in the private sector is confined to your personal experience, and whatever you may have gleaned from your wife's experience, then I am not surprised to find that you are unable to generalize any valid opinion either way. But you may deem yourselves fortunate that neither of you have experienced any "mismanagement, inefficiency, and outright stupidity" in the confined areas of your work experience. I find that unusual, but I do not doubt your apprehension of the matter.

By the way, I did not say that I or she never encountered mismanagement and the like. Let me emphasize the dubious elements in your post:

I can tell you that the private sector is by and large a wasteland of mismanagement, inefficiency, and outright stupidity. The vast majority of them stumble along cutting a million corners to make up for useless ideas or uncompetitive initiatives. It is not necessary that they ultimately fall by the wayside. Many of them never do. But they deliver an ugly or fraudulent product and they move along to the next street. Many times the employees are drunk before the noon hour...

And you characterized Tim as "extremist"....LOLOLOL!!!
