What woul the breakout signal be after dow 10,010?

Not sure what you mean. If we go up, then the node after the breakout node is "Cash in your long and smile."

Middle-biters don't see this state diagram and would not have bought here. They are more worried about headfakes. For them, the state machine is waiting for a break of 10,035 before considering a long. The middle-biter is by nature a more skeptical beast. He sees a real test of 9,960 a comin'.
