I have almost no idea how this race is likely to develop and right now the track is off. I suspect I will pass.

It looks to me like Booklet is being over bet at 5-1 or so. I don't like him at all at that price and would leave him out of everything unless those odds rise quite a bit.

Proud Citizen looks reasonable at 11-1 right now.

The horse that I think may be better than he looks on paper is USS Tinosa. He was improving rapidly going into the SA Derby and had some trouble. He's been working extremely well since, has a good trainer, and a good style for a fast paced race. I thought he was going to be longer than 14-1 because he simply hasn't shown enough to beat these yet. Others must see the same things.

I think there is some chance that War Emblem is going to rate. He did rate once and won. Can't take 5-2 when I just got 20-1, but I will be rooting for him. A win would make the Belmont more interesting.

Everyone knows that Medaglia D Oro finished well in the Derby and might benefit from a fast pace. I like him, but won't take 7-2.

If you want to get really crazy, Nick Zito's horses often improve sharply on wet tracks.

Have Fun.
