Yes, they are usually early but a sudden "statistically significant" change in a commercial position should not be ignored. This week does not qualify IMO, although covering 7K SPX contracts should be at least noted.

I also think the shift in the small spec ES and NQ mini should be noted this week as that is the dumbest money you can chart. They took off quite a few longs.
