TSF, I think they figure out what is going on after the cub reporter on the Podunk Times has been reporting on the situation for several weeks. <g> When you are an analyst and you end up working for a ratings agency, your career is crapola. They are even a notch down from analysts at bank money managers. However, in their defense, their statements actually cost or save people money on borrowing costs, so they feel they have to be verrrrry slow and very deliberate. And they get a lot of pressure, such as calls from a former cabinet official asking them to cool it on downgrading a certain co. that is now bellyup. That is something I've never experienced. Of course, my side of the conversation would be, "who is this, really?" <g>
