ROTFL! Nice read: A credit crunch is an economic heart attack. Disregard, Dr. Bubble has already implanted an AICD in the patient (ie, stock index future purchases by the Fed). If that doesn't work, there's always epinephrine (outlawing short sales) and lidocaine (tax credits and cuts for all!)<G> Unfortunately, the real cure in this situation is bypass grafting (debt reductions, elimination of home interest tax deduction, raising the Fed funds rate), which is painful and complication-fraught. It'll never happen.
