It just interests me that some people think they should have the right to judge God.

Well what do you mean by God? We might actually have similar ideas, but it is quite possible that the creator of the universe is very different then either of us think. I will examine a conception of God that I strongly believe is not true for the sake of argument. Imagine a powerful creator who created the universe and made sure there would be inteligent life, so that at some point he could be sure there was an enormous level of horrible suffering and that he could take sadistic pleasure in this suffering. If this was true and we could determine that it was true should we say "we must not judge God", and accept whatever standards the creator gives us?

I believe in a benevolent and wise creator of the universe, but this belief could be wrong. If the creator of the universe was twisted and sadistic why should we follow him and worship him and accept his standards besides maybe the fact that we would be afraid of his power.

If I follow God it would not be because he was the creator, because its possible to have an evil, or even more unlikely foolish creator. I would follow God because I see him as just and wise and good. But to come to the conclusion that God is just and wise and good I need to apply standards to God, in other words judge God.
