Max pain was damned impressive on Wednesday, that's for sure! Thanks for the info, one other question. Are any of the easily accessible sources (ie, CBOE or Yahoo) reliable with respect to open interest numbers? How frequently do they update them? Seems like that's a crucial factor in determining how useful they'd be for max pain calculations....

I'll vouch for that. EMLX ****ed me but good the one time I tried. Had it cooking with EMLX for two weeks solid and gave it all back on one idiotic decision.
