And so Ron, Just called, my brother, my wonderful brother, we talked and laughed, and it was so good.. He told me, they just moved the D-7 up to the old place, where our land is, and he cleaned out the roads and some old corrals etc.. around our old home barn.. And trimmed the edges around some fields and pastures.. And my nephew plowed some old fields up.. Alfalfa has to be replaced, you know, every 5 to 10 years or so.. The barn roof, my famous project in my teens,, I helped shake, a thousand years ago.. Ron knew, I helped split the shakes with a fro.. And then I nailed them on.. And we talked more about his children, and our other nieces and nephews, of their joys and triumphs, and their new babies.. It was so good.. And Mary and I wondered why we stay in the Sierra Nevada.. A beautiful place, with beautiful friends with weather like "Topsy": When it is good, "it is very very good" and when it is bad, "it is very, very bad". But he said to.. "Come on up" We like that, We have an option, We are so lucky in that regard.. I don't know, we will see..
