Wayne,

re: patience

In the "olde days" when the sector was in the dumps, we knew that we were buying tremendous value and were willing to wait quite a while for that value to bear fruit. At this time I don't see the sector as a value play, but as one that has great momentum plus fundamental support in the rising POG and many reasons to reasonably expect the POG to continue to rise. Every time there is a spurt in my NAV, I find myself expecting it to continue and getting a little disappointed if it doesn't. Likewise a good move in one gold stock creates an expectation that they will all move soon (and in a big way). This is rather like driving at very high speed on the autobahn and then having to slow down to "only" 70 mph on any other road. We get "velocitized" on the autobahn and afterwards it feels as if we are crawling along on any other road. IMHO, being velocitized by a surging market is one of the emotions that I need to overcome in order to maintain my investment perspective.

Just my 2 cents,

vt

<<My biggest fault is patience. When I am holding MNP or SWG and they are doing nothing with everything around me gaining, I get the itch to sell and move. Probably not wise, but I have to wonder why they are not moving with the rest.>>

Can't speak to SWG but remember MNP did a secondary with lots of added volume down around .10. It could be simply digesting.
