I was in a conversation with a group of friends last November about the stocks they have in market. Most of them them said that they won't sell his stocks as there aren't much left anyway. It led to my conclusion that the moses will ride it "out" or ride it "off to the cliff".

Just a thought.
Best Wishes,
gf

<That means about one eighth of the money in the market back in 2000 every day is in the market today.> reversals like that Chris can last for years. Buffet and Greenspan and others who study market psychology point out when the public in the main turns from trust the market to don't trust the market, that shift can lock in for many years.
Greenspan as stated it is the single most powerful dynamic in the market, historically.
That is why you have period of years where stocks can sell well below fair value. Why? Populace for one reason or another has formed a view "no stocks for me, there too dangerous, and only the crooks make money".
The 1/8 is not a good sign, imo, as that could well be revealing the shift in the public attitude. Max
