Along the same lines...

I have a Jewish friend in Dallas who bought a new Pontiac
in 1985.

After the car dealer and he made the contract, my friend
said that he wanted to use one ounce Krugs as a trade-in
for the payment.

The next day, with the coins and a visit to a nearby coin
dealer, the coins were exchanged.

The purchase price showed next to nothing, and the Texas
state sales price was "nada". (If I remember correctly,
the sales tax rate was around 6 percent at that time.)
