Why couldn't Congress simply eliminate the tax advantages of Bermuda incorporation as they're threatening?

The problem in the Stanley move is that it is not only legal but the IRS will give a company step by step instructions on how to do it. I wouldn't get on Stanley's case but I sure would like to see the law changed so companies don't try this in the future.

So you predict Stanley will go bankrupt soon? Better tell them, they're making 55 to 60 cents per share per quarter right regularly. Taxes aside, if I worked in their home office and had the choice of living in New Britain, CT or Bermuda ...
