. . .why do you go plunging off into the weeds? Because what is known is far less interesting to me than what has yet to be discovered. IMO, one has to be willing to be ridiculed, thought foolish, idiotic, or worse, if one ever hopes to be inventive. "New" ideas are rarely met with applause, and in the process of getting to that "new" idea, lots of misfires and errors occur that often justify much of this criticism. C'est la vie why was there no shooting when Hitler's armies crossed the borders of Austria and Czechoslovakia in the late 1930's? I'm not familiar with the specific historical dynamics of the situation you described, so rather than venture a guess, let's examine (what may be) a similar scenario: You throw a ball against a wall, and rather than rebounding, it becomes stuck between a couple of bricks. Has this violated Newton's 3rd, or can we allow than there is not always a mirrored reaction for every action? That although the ball didn't rebound, an equal and opposite reaction of another stripe occurred. In the case of Austria and Czechoslovakia, was Hitler's agression met with: cowardice, resignation. . . an inability to react in kind ? In a similar vein, this is why Jesus' admonitions to ". . .turn the other cheek. . ." and " . . .love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you . . ." are such profound paradigm shattering quantum principles that, when practiced, defy "known" laws. This may not be "REAL SCIENCE", but to me, it is real science.
