Softie,

I know it is difficult to understand but this article sounds quite good to me. It says that insane growth is over. Most of the fall is behind us. A few sectors are screwed. Enterprise buyers will slowly increase IT spending when profits returns. To participate in this slow growth vendors will need to offer real value and real differentiation. Competition will be tough. This sounds like the kind of soil we need to have technology begin to recover and be a value creating industry again.

Even if I turn bullish soon my expectations are quite low for the next 12 - 18 months.

BTW, I have watch the webcasts of a number of the JPMorgan conference session. The reporter is being very selective in his reporting. There were sessions and panels which both bearish and bullish - both with good arguments too.
